What is APhA-ASP?
The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) is the largest professional society of pharmacists in the United States, composed of more than 62,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. The Academy of Student Pharmacists (ASP) is a subsection of the national organization.
The University of Arizona APhA-ASP chapter has the largest membership of all the student pharmacy organizations at our College. The reason is simple. APhA-ASP is the largest organizations that represents and unites all the diverse interests of pharmacy.
Mission
The mission of the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy.
