Our APhA-ASP chapter is very active in the Tucson community.  APhA-ASP organizes several health fairs during the school year. At these health fairs, student pharmacists provide free screenings for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma. In addition, our students educate the public on diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, immunizations, over-the-counter medications, and prescription drug abuse. To say the least, our chapter is an essential part of the national APhA-ASP initiative for improving patient care. 

 

Our chapter has several health fairs organized all over Tucson this semester. Please feel free to attend these events and receive free health screenings from our pharmacist students.
